Taking photographs of a black dog wasn’t a problem, until someone told me it was. Just the words, “It’s really hard to photograph a black dog, that’s why you never see black dogs in the movies.”

Then I checked and yep, out of the Top 10 Famous Dogs there’s only one black dog … Toto the black terrier in the Wizard of Oz.
Guess it’s a good thing that Jake’s a poser.

It helps when your black dog is a poser, I’ve got one poser and one very reluctant model and with them being both black I find that taking lots and lots of photos helps, bound to get a good one eventually 🙂
