Playtime came and went. I could tell Jake was pissed that we were out of routine … tried to bribe him with a treat … he turned his nose up and walked away.
He finally looked back at me, after I said, “Really?”
Held the treat out. No movement. Dropped the treat on the floor, “Better get it before Charlie does.” That worked.
Seriously, what dog turns down a treat or better yet … smells everything before eating it? Jake does.
The only reason Jake eats when he has to …. Charlie will devour it in less than 15 seconds.
