It snowed the day after Christmas and with it came sun. Finally.
Jake looked like he was wondering where the sun had been too.
Charlie was wondering why all the snow was sticking to him.
At first, he looked like he was enjoying it but he became so caked with snow, I felt bad and picked him up. It was like holding a solid block of ice and I think I made him colder by trying to warm him up.
When we finally got home, I wrapped him up in a towel until he melted.
He was so grateful that he went nuts running all over the house smelling like a 3 day old dead fish. Luckee!
Bless the Beasts and Children. 😉
“No matter how close we are to another person, few human relationships are as free from strife, disagreement, and frustration as is the relationship you have with a good dog. Few human beings give of themselves to another as a dog gives of itself. I also suspect that we cherish dogs because their unblemished souls make us wish – consciously or unconsciously – that we were as innocent as they are, and make us yearn for a place where innocence is universal and where the meanness, the betrayals, and the cruelties of this world are unknown.” ― Dean Koontz
Gorgeous photos, no snow around here yet, but should come soon!
