What is it with writing utensils and junk drawers?

I’m still suffering from that age old problem of ink-less pens, if there even is one, in the junk drawer and … while we’re on the subject … I can’t be the only one that has that same useless pencil, with the no eraser, as a back up.

It just doesn’t make any sense.

I did find a heavy silver poking device. I’m not sure what you would do with something like that but it’s been in the junk drawer forever.

You’re probably thinking, she could use one of those highlighters and I would agree. What you don’t know is the highlighters have been dried out for sometime now.

That black thing that kind of looks like a pen isn’t.  It’s a Bic pen top, in case I find the pen.

The magical part of this junk drawer saga  … I know where the scissors are.
