In Memory of Buddy the Wonder Cat
Two cats have crossed my path. There was Bubbles, a little black kitten (when I was 5) who would jump into Mr.Bubble filled tubs and loved walking upside down under the box spring. He ran away and never came back.
Regarding Mr. Bubble … why would you want to bathe in something that cleans you and the bathtub?
Which lead me to … What is in Mr Bubble?
Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Chloride, PEG-80 Sorbitan Laurate, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Tocopheryl Acetate, PEG-150 Distearate, Citric Acid, Tetrasodium EDTA, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Benzoate, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance, Red 33
Squeaky clean. No soap box here. 😉
I digress … and the second cat was Buddy.
Buddy, Buddy, Buddy. What a kid he was.
A little orange tabby with broken back legs, a crooked tail and a burst eye from abuse caused by a few farm boys.
I’ve been told that a neighbor took Bud in to heal broken and this loving little spirit lived on.
I don’t know the neighbors name, but she gave Buddy to my daughters friend. That’s when we first met.
He lived with Hershey, a giant Chocolate Lab and there was dog and cat hair everywhere.
It was a over a year later when Buddy and I would become room mates for the rest of his days. I didn’t get to say goodbye but I still see him scooting around the garden and upstairs in the hall. Ghost cats are the best. They don’t shed. Miss you Bud.
