since we last met

Our little city (pop. 5260) reclaimed a piece of property that I’ve tended garden on for 10 years. It’s city property, why shouldn’t they reclaim it … right?

I’m still wondering how something so beautiful could bring out the absolute worst in people and without an official word ever spoken to me. That’s not totally true … one council person warned me, without officially warning me, on our deck one day looking like a social call until I realized, 15 minutes later, that he had an agenda.  Just say it you think I’m stupid human … say I’m here regarding the garden on city property and while we thank you for beautifying our little town … blah, blah, blah.  No, that would have been to decent and neighborly … what he did say was … you didn’t hear this from me but you should get your plants out of here before they’re destroyed.  OMG. Get off my property.

Jake, Charlie and I would seriously like to know if we’re on TV? Anyone?

Makes no never mind … now that I’ve finally vented with a whiff of lavender.

“Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don’t resist them; that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality.

Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.”  ― Lao Tzu
